Olam Tomato Processors Inc leased 298k sf of space at 1400 Churchill Downs Ave in Woodland, about 20 miles northwest of downtown Sacramento. Olam, a leading global supply chain manager and processor of agricultural products and food ingredients, will be consolidating and expanding from its existing 200k sf of warehouse space situated in three separate buildings at another Woodland locale.

Olam’s new space is part of a much larger 596k sf industrial facility in an industrial park that offers easy access to rail service, which will help support the firm’s processing and canning operation 40 miles to the north in the city of Williams. Olam’s new space will also allow for future expansion.

The building is owned and operated by Amir Development. Amir was represented in the transaction by Todd Sanfilippo of CB Richard Ellis.

Ken Reiff with Cassidy Turley BT Commercial Sacramento repped Olam, a leading global supply chain manager and processor of agricultural products and food ingredients. The company operates an integrated supply chain for 20 products in 64 countries, delivering these products to 10,000 customers worldwide. Olam is the second largest California tomato processor in the United States.

In addition, Olam is the largest certified processor of organic products, with more than 30% of the organic processing tomato acreage in California. Olam’s other California facility is located on 82 acres in the Central California city of Lemoore.
